My name is Ryan Crouse. I was raised in Tafelsig, Mitchells Plain and experienced first hand how sport and education can lead you out of poverty and keep you out of the dark hands of gangsterism and crime.

This is the main reason why I have decided to focus my teaching and coaching careers within Mitchell’s Plain in order to give our children the same opportunities to succeed. I have been teaching in Mitchell’s Plain since July 2002 and have built up a reputation for being a good coach and sports administrator. 

These are also two of the pillars on which the PPA has been built and therefore joining up was a no-brainer and becoming a leader in the sport and recreation portfolio, even more of a privelege.

I believe that the PPA will remain a pivotal cog in machine that aims to improve education within our disenfranchised communities.
